Understanding Implied Multiplier
The Implied Multiplier tells you how the current market price of a CRT compares to the yearly revenue it earns. It works a lot like a P/E ratio in the stock market; it's a quick way to judge whether a CRT looks fairly priced, undervalued, or expensive.
How it's calculated: Current Price × 100 ÷ (Revenue Share % × Last 12 Months YouTube Revenue)
What does the number mean? When a Creator first listed their CRT on GigaStar, it was priced at a set multiple of their yearly earnings. As the CRT trades on the secondary market, that price changes - and so does the multiplier.
A lower multiplier than the original listing price could mean the CRT is undervalued, especially if the Creator's revenue has grown since the offering.
A higher multiplier means the market is betting on future growth and pricing that in today.
Use the Implied Multiplier alongside the Creator's revenue trends to help decide if a CRT fits your investment goals.
Key Points to Remember
