GigaStar has received the Trailblazer Award from the Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA), one of five 2026 CfPA Industry Awards. The award honors pioneers building the infrastructure that moves crowdfunding forward.
CEO Hazem Dawani accepted the award on October 21 at the 2026 Regulated Investment Crowdfunding Summit, held at the National Union Building in Washington, DC.
About the CfPA Industry Awards
The CfPA is the leading professional association and policy voice for the Reg CF and Reg A community. Its annual Industry Awards recognize the companies and people shaping regulated investment crowdfunding. This year's five categories:
- Rocket Launch: an exceptional Reg CF debut raising at least $4.5 million within 180 days
- Cool Innovator: groundbreaking first-of-a-kind or eco-friendly projects funded through Reg CF or Reg A
- Trailblazer: pioneers building infrastructure that moves crowdfunding forward
- Pay It Forward: CfPA members or partners giving back to the crowdfunding community
- Social Impact: Reg CF issuers creating positive, measurable social change
The awards were presented during the Summit, which brought together funding portals, regulators, attorneys, and investors to discuss investor outcomes, new financing models, policy, and the growing role of AI in crowdfunding.
Building the Infrastructure for Creator Investing
GigaStar was built on a simple idea: fans should be able to invest in the Creators they love and share in their channel’s journey. Through Creator Revenue Tokens (CRTs), investors can own a share of a YouTube channel's potential future revenue, and Creators can raise capital without giving up ownership of their channel.
The Trailblazer Award recognizes the infrastructure behind that model. GigaStar's secondary market lets CRT holders buy and sell with each other. Recent releases include Giga Mode, order book depth, time and sales, cost basis tracking, and daily YouTube revenue estimates for every listed channel.
The market now lists over 25 Creator asset symbols, with new users approved every day.
Investment offerings are speculative, illiquid, and involve a high degree of risk, including the risk of loss of your entire investment. There is no guarantee of an active or liquid secondary market, and investments are subject to market risk and will fluctuate in value. Investors may not be able to find a buyer, or the sale price could be much lower than the amount invested.
On Stage in DC
Beyond accepting the award, Hazem joined the Summit panel "The Next Wave of Crowdfunding Innovation," alongside Jonny Price of Wefunder and Andy Field of GECA. The panel covered new financing models, CRTs, and where regulated crowdfunding goes next.

Thank you to the CfPA and its President, Brian Belley, who nominated GigaStar, and to Rose Kauzeni and the Summit team for hosting a great event. And thank you to our Creators, Investors, and the GigaStar team who make this work possible.
What's Next
The award caps a big month for the GigaStar team, who also rang the Cboe opening bell and was featured on CNBC. We're focused on growing the secondary market, bringing more Creators onto the platform and making it easier for fans to invest in the channels they watch.
